i almost gave this place a chance, but the bathtub was freezing cold and the excessive charge at checkout made me want to scream. absolutely dramatic! I would have expected complimentary drinks for the discomfort. oh, the neglected gardens are a charming touch, if you enjoy overgrown messes. definetly not worth the price paid.

A delightful stay at the manor

The manor house was a picturesque retreat, surrounded by stunning grounds and lush gardens. Our afternoon tea was a standout, served with exquisite attention to detail and quality.

There was a slight lack of organization during our stay. We were left waiting for the dinner menu, and the absence of housekeeping was unexpected for such a charming establishment.

Oh, mate, the breakfast blew my socks off! Those scones? Best in Ireland, no question! And the gorgeous views from the Deluxe Double Room made every morning feel like a postcard. Plus, the cozy vibe of the whole place kept us snug and happy.

But, aye, there was a bit of a scuffle getting the right room. Instructions to find the entrance were non-existent, leaving us a tad confused. The eggs Benedict? They arrived burnt, like they’d been in a battle. Not the relaxing experience we signed up for.

What a place! The chandeliers everywhere were just jaw-dropping, and brekkie was on point, like real amazing. Staff were so friendly, especially this chommie Scott who shared stories about the house. Just loved the vibe, felt like I was in a movie or something!

Just a minor thing, we could've done with a bit more clarity on the gate entry—it had us confused for a mo.

Rockhill House exudes elegance with its stunning chandeliers and carefully designed interiors, creating an inviting atmosphere that's easily accessible. Spacious common areas and beautiful walled gardens added to the sense of calm during my stay.

The stay was enjoyable overall, especially in the beautiful Courtyard Double Room. The hotel was cozy and the decor was exceptional, which really enhanced the atmosphere. I appreciated the relaxing gardens, although they could use a bit more maintenance. Having breakfast in such stunning surroundings made starting each day delightful. I had great nights of sleep on the incredibly comfortable bed, a real highlight of my visit.

The beautifully landscaped gardens added a lovely touch, making it a pleasure to stroll around the property. the check-in process was disorganized, leading to some frustration regarding our room arrangements.

During my stay, the cleanliness of the second room I was assigned did not meet expectations.

Minor inconveniences included a cold room upon arrival that could’ve benefitted from pre-heating. Maintenance had noticeable gaps. our room had broken fixtures such as shower components and wardrobe doors. Plus, accessing the property after hours involved an awkward maneuver through hedges to reach an electric gate, highlighting some logistical issues.

Absolutely loved the spa. it was relaxation heaven! The stunning room had amazing views, but the bar lacked atmosphere—a bit disappointing. a wonderful experience! 😊
